Huntshield – Gear That Withstands the Elements
We’ve spent dawns and late afternoons in frozen pits and stand hunting blinds, where staying warm and dry means everything. That’s why the Huntshield 4‑in‑1 parka has become a staple in our layers. We don’t just wear it for the camera—it’s what we rely on when the winds shift, the rubber ducks take a dive, and the weather takes a foolish turn.
This parka isn’t just warm—it’s built for hunters. The two-layer design gives us options: peel off the inner jacket when we’re on a long sit, or zip it all together when the temperature drops and wind picks up. One morning during goose season, the temp was barely above freezing, but there was still seven hours of patience ahead. Zone insulation on the inner jacket and heavier fill in the body kept me warm without overheating when a few birds started bobbing overhead.
We’ve tested it in rain, sleet, deep frost, and muddy basins. The 10,000 mm waterproof outer shell with taped seams and DWR finish has kept moisture out, and the underarm vents keep me from sweating through mid-stride. Cargo pockets—big enough for shells, calls, even a couple of rubber decoys—make life in the blind easier.
More than once, someone’s asked what camo pattern I’m wearing, and I say straight-up: camouflage doesn’t mean anything if the jacket doesn’t hold up. That’s why we trust Huntshield. This jacket blends in, sure—but it also does what gear is supposed to do: protect, adapt, and endure.
We’ve layered it in oak stands, bog pits, whip-poor-will mornings, and everything else in between. It’s not about being flashy or polished—it’s about being real. The kind of gear that lets us focus on what matters: the hunt.
When you see us out there, chances are we’ve got our Huntshield on. That’s because we only put gear on our backs that’s earned its keep—season after season, sit after sit, bird after bird.
